URTICARIA AND DIET

Do you know that 20% of the population believe they have some kind of food allergy, but, in fact, this occurs in only 4-7% of children and in as little as 1-2% of adults?

Urticaria patients usually try to find a cause for their disease. They try to investigate if a certain food would have been triggering those itching flares by limiting the ingestion of, for example, eggs, pork, milk, and other foods, but they find no improvement with these measures, i.e., itching does not go away.
