ANGIOEDEMA – WHAT IS ANGIOEDEMA?

Angioedema labial

Angioedema is a sudden swelling that occurs on skin’s deep layer (deep dermis and subcutaneous).
It occurs in 40-50% of acute or chronic urticaria, as an adjuvant to these pictures. It may also develop alone, i.e., with no concurrent urticaria lesion.
